Scratch Golf Tours - Meet Our Team

 Matt is well versed in the UK & US golfing landscape and brings a wealth of experience to SGT as the Head Golf Professional at Ingrebourne Links Golf & Country Club where he teaches and mentors players of all abilities. Matt is also the current Essex PGA captain where he continues to compete and win on the local pro-am tours. Prior to joining SGT, Matt played NCAA Division One College Golf at Mercer University in Georgia, USA. Matt has since run golf tours in the UK, Europe and the USA as well as worked at multiple British Opens and is an excellent addition to the Scratch Golf Tours team where he will expand our tour itineraries and oversee the operations team.

Growing up in England, Robert began playing golf at Broome Manor GC and later joined Wotton Bassett GC where he was part of the Wiltshire Junior County Championship Winning Team in 1994. Not long after, Robert took a break from golf to focus on his football career which took him from AFC Bournemouth to the USA where he has resided since 1996.  The draw of the homeland has never diminished and Robert is a frequent visitor back to the UK to see family and play golf with friends from the UK & USA.
